1	Track your progress	Our course website is a wiki! What is a wiki? Watch the Common Craft video for an explanation. Sign up to be a "writer" of this wiki webspace by clicking on the link in the email you were sent by PBWorks or by clicking on the "To join this workspace, request access" link on the right. Use the Try Me page to practice editing a page by inserting a table and typing your name. Create your own page using the progress record template. See the Course schedule for instructions. Read and follow the rules.
2	Correct keyboard technique	Review correct keyboarding technique by watching the video on the page Improving speed and accuracy Make sure that you complete the homework and classwork set in the Course schedule, and if you are absent catch up quickly. Report any problems with your laptop or KeyChamp to your teacher this week.
3	Practice - the only way to improve speed and accuracy	Try one of the items listed on the Fun & Games page. Check you are up to date with the Course schedule. Complete the Spelling activity- check with your teacher which words you will work with.
4	Teamwork	Work with 2 or 3 other girls to help each other. Watch one person to give her tips about how she is keyboarding Set up a team page to record your progress as a team.
